How long have you been making art?
Art has been a part of my life since childhood. I grew up in Jerez, Spain, surrounded by the colors, textures, and traditions of my homeland. Formally, I have been creating and sharing my art professionally for over 8 years, building a brand that bridges cultural heritage with contemporary storytelling.
How would you describe your artistic style?
My style is what I call Hybrid Fluid Realism. It’s a fusion of the organic flow of acrylic pouring with the meticulous details of traditional oil painting. This creates pieces that are both vibrant and deeply layered—reflecting life’s cherished moments and the beauty of fine wine, whiskey, and the celebrations that connect us.
When would you say your artistic style really developed?
My style crystallized after COVID, in 2022. I originally was an oil painter and always loved realism. During the pandemic, I took an acrylic pouring class, and immediately began exploring how that fluid technique could coexist with realism. The result was Hybrid Fluid Realism—a style that felt authentic to my personal and artistic journey.

Who are some artists who are inspirations to you?
I’m inspired by artists like Tomas Arvid, who captures the elegance of wine culture with hyperrealism, and by classical Spanish painters who conveyed stories through rich colors and symbolism. I’m also fascinated by contemporary artists who challenge boundaries, blending tradition with modern narratives.
What are some common themes or ideas you liike to explore in your art?
My work celebrates life’s most cherished moments—from quiet reflections to joyful gatherings. I’m passionate about capturing the sensory beauty of wine, whiskey, and spirits, and translating those experiences into visual narratives. I believe art should connect deeply with personal memories and the stories we hold close.
What sort of mediums are you drawn to and why are they your favorite to use?
I love working with acrylic pouring for its spontaneity and fluidity, and oils for their depth and richness. Combining the two allows me to create textures and effects that feel alive. To me, this is essential for telling the stories in my art.
How would you describe your artistic process?
It’s a dance between control and letting go. I begin with fluid acrylic pours that create organic movement on the canvas. From there, I refine details with oil paints to bring focus, realism, and narrative to the piece. Each painting becomes a unique conversation between spontaneity and precision.
Where do you get the inspiration for your works?
Much of my inspiration comes from wine, spirits, and the moments they help create celebrations, conversations, and quiet times of reflection. My heritage in Jerez, surrounded by sherry bodegas, shaped my love for the craft behind fine beverages. Now, living in Colorado, I find new inspiration in the connections between cultures, traditions, and people.

Why did you decide to choose art as a career?
Art has always been my way of connecting with the world. I chose it as a career because I believe in creating pieces that bring beauty and meaning into people’s lives. My goal is to help others celebrate their passions—whether it’s a love of wine, a special memory, or the joy of collecting unique art.
What would you say are your main goals as an artist?
My mission is to transform spaces with art that celebrates life’s meaningful moments. I also aim to expand collaborations with fine wine and spirits brands, blending art and luxury experiences for collectors and brand enthusiasts alike.
What are you currently working on?
This summer, my schedule revolves around art, wine, and whiskey festivals. While I’m not in full production mode during festival months, I’m always developing new concepts. Currently, I’m exploring pieces inspired by the glow of evening gatherings—a theme that blends my love for light, reflections in glassware, and the ambiance of celebration.
What was one of your proudest moments as an artist?
One of my proudest moments was getting published this past January in Haute Living. Seeing my art connect with collectors and brands who share my passion for craftsmanship and storytelling is incredibly fulfilling.
What advice would you give to young artists-or even a younger version of yourself-just starting out?
Great question. Stay true to your vision, even when it feels risky. Art is as much about telling your story as it is about technique. Find what you’re passionate about and build your work around it. And remember: success in art isn’t just about selling pieces—it’s about creating connections that last.
