“Joel Long inspires authenticity, encouraging everyone to embrace risks with sincerity. Most people wouldn’t consider themselves gamblers, and rightfully so—most are not. But let it not be said that we don’t take risks, big or small, every day. We all manage risks in our own way, whether we realize it or not. Joel began tattooing in 1992, a dream he had since the 10th grade. He was never content with simply managing or being managed—he wanted to do things his way, creating art that spoke to him and for him. The images he brings to life are more than just artwork—they are a reflection of his journey, filled with personal meaning.
Much like the tiger who is free to roam its own path, or the hawk and eagle that hunt on their own terms, Joel believes nature is full of risks and challenges that can’t be avoided. He invites you to take a gamble and pursue what speaks to you, knowing that no one ever achieved anything without taking at least one calculated risk. Joel’s work encourages you to take the leap, pursue your own dreams, and not be swayed by others’ expectations.
